Zij bepalen samen met hun team de culinaire strategie van de rederij. Chef Alexis Quaretti begon zijn carri\u00e8re bij enkele van de beste restaurants ter wereld, waaronder het met \u00e9\u00e9n Michelinster bekroonde <i>Ch\u00e2teau de Mar\u00e7ay<\/i>, het met drie Michelinsterren bekroonde <i>L&#8217;Arp\u00e8ge<\/i> en het met twee Michelinsterren bekroonde <i>La Pyramide<\/i>. Chef Eric Barale volgde op slechts 16 jaar de prestigieuze koksopleiding in Toulouse en werkte met gerenommeerde chefs in beroemde hotels als H\u00f4tel Concorde en La Fayette. Met name in de Polo Grill, ons klassieke Amerikaanse steakhouse. Dit restaurant is onmiskenbaar Amerikaans: van de toewijding aan USDA-gecertificeerd Black Angus-rundvlees, dat minimaal 40 dagen rijpt voor die kenmerkende, boterzachte smaak, tot de iconische steakhouse cuts zoals de Porterhouse, Ribeye en de New York Strip.<\/p>\n<p>Ook in de meest geliefde klassiekers op het menu is het Amerikaanse culinaire erfgoed vertegenwoordigd. Voorgerechten zoals Oysters Rockefeller, de BLT en de Waldorfsalade zijn voorbeelden van gerechten die hun oorsprong vonden in de Verenigde Staten en zijn uitgegroeid tot iconen van de Amerikaanse eetcultuur. Ook op het gebied van zeevruchten komt de Amerikaanse invloed duidelijk naar voren. Dat gezegd hebbende, als ik aan wal zou zijn, zou ik altijd op zoek gaan naar een lokale gelegenheid met een rijke historie. De plekken waar men al generaties lang chowder bereidt, waar het recept in de loop der tijd tot in de puntjes is verfijnd en met trots van generatie op generatie is doorgegeven (een werkwijze die sterk doet denken aan ons culinaire ethos aan boord van onze schepen) dat zijn vaak de plekken waar je de meest authentieke, bezielde kommen chowder vindt\u201d.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Als u in de regio New England uw perfecte gerecht zou mogen uitkiezen, waar zou u dan voor gaan?
