De plek is gecentreerd rond het historische huis van Abraham Lincoln oud president van Amerika. Het was het enige huis dat Lincoln ooit bezat. In het bijbehorende bezoekerscentrum is veel achtergrondinformatie over Lincoln te vinden. Natuurlijk kennen we Abraham Lincoln als een van de grootste presidenten van Amerika, maar hij was ook gewoon een echtgenoot, ouder, buurman en vriend, een normaal mens.
